The Type A-2 flight jacket was originally invented and developed for U.S. Army Air Forces pilots, Navigators and Bombardiers.
Vegetable-tanned leather embodies the experience of our life. It matures over time, a rare material that actually improves with age and use. These changes and personalizations precisely testify the naturalness of the product. The innate colors of the tannins give warm tones to the leather, which tend to intensify with the passage of time and daily use.
The lining is made of “Terra Bruciata” color viscose, and the leather collar-tab closes the neck to keep you warm during winter and cold trips.

The name “Don Gentile” is a tribute to the Air Force Pilot Dominic Gentile, also known as ‘”The Ace of Aces”. Born as the son of Italian immigrants in the US, Don Gentile was flying the legendary North American P-51 Mustang nicknamed “Shangri-La”.

Inspired by 1960s Cowboy Jackets and revisited with a unique Italian touch, the “Bivacco” Yellow Western Down Jacket represents an authentic garment made of Recycled 80% Goose Down / 20% Feather from Tuscany (Italy) with the traditional western yoke made with Front Quarter Pull-up Horsehide by Charles F. Stead, one of the oldest tanneries in the UK (since 1890s in Leeds, United Kingdom).
The external layer is made of 100% Recycled Ecopath® Polyester from Prato (Italy), 100% waterproof and breathable. Combined with Responsibly-sourced Goose Down (Recycled 80% Goose Down / 20% Feather), the “Bivacco” guarantees warmth and protection against any bad weather condition, no matter how wet and cold.
The Recycled Goose Down from Tuscany (Italy) is certified by GRS (Global Recycle Standard). GRS is intended to meet the needs of people looking to verify the recycled content of their products and to verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production. The Goose Down is also traceable and certified to follow the RDS (Responsible Down Standard), and is processed in Bluesign®-approved facilities.
The Recycled Ecopath® Polyester from Prato (Italy) is produced using discard of workmanship of knitwear-heads, clothing and clippings of garment which will be then selected by color, cut in pieces of small dimensions and then minced in order to be mixed through a process of ecological advanced recycling that regenerates the fibers. The colorations of the yarns remain those native of the fabrics and the dyeing is performed using environmentally-friendly dyes.
The Front Quarter Pull-up Horsehide by Charles F. Stead is made by selected European Full Grain horse hides tanned with Steads’ traditional garment tannage and finished with a blend of “classic pull-up” waxes. This produces a pure-aniline leather with a Unique Rich character.

The Deck N-1 jacket was initially developed as a utilitarian jacket for the Navy Army during World War II, and afterwards used by outlaw motorcycle clubs and hot rod racers.
Aniline leather is made from the highest quality hides, which are naturally soft and supple. This type of leather is dyed with aniline dyes, which mean they allow the natural grain and color of the leather to show through.
This Steerhide is the highest quality Full-grain leather in the market, Chrome tanned with Aniline finish.
Thickness is around 1,1 mm, making our “Deck” N-1 an outstanding and high-end premium jacket. Natural leathers like Aniline Vicenza Steerhide have their own distinctive character and slight differences in texture, grain, scratches and color tone are signs of its authenticity.
The lining is made of “Army” color viscose diamond stitched, and the leather collar-tab closes the neck to keep you warm during winter and cold trips.
