For the NYCO Climbing G-Shorts, Japan’s and wander have taken our much-loved G-Shorts back to the drawing board to create a unique pair of modern outdoor shorts. Whilst their shape is classic Gramicci, our usual organic cotton twill has been swapped for NYCO—a blend of cotton and nylon renowned for its tough, quick drying nature and its cool, comfortable handle. It’s hardy, without being heavyweight, making it perfect for when you want a pair of rugged shorts that don’t hold you back. Other details worth mentioning include that reflective stitching for evening adventures and that unique co-branded belt. These are pretty special.

This season we’ve worked with Japan’s and wander to create a collection of contemporary outdoor clothing designed for modern life. A quick glimpse at the Patchwork Wind Hoodie should give you an indication of the kind of stuff we mean. Light, comfortable, wearable are the name of the game here. At heart, it’s a lightweight, summer-friendly windbreaker—but as it’s had the and wander treatment, it’s anything but everyday, and is made from a patchwork combination of taffeta and ripstop for a really unique flavour. What else? Well, that reflective stitching makes it prime for nocturnal use, and because of that water-resistant coating you needn’t worry about getting caught out in a midsummer shower.

You’re looking at the Patchwork Wind Pants—a tough, lightweight pair of pants from our collaboration with the forward-thinking Japanese outdoor brand and wander. Taking the shape of our much-loved Voyager Pants, they’re a functional pair of climbing pants made from a combination of ripstop and high-density taffeta nylon for a really soft, crisp texture. Combining our tried-and-tested climbing pants DNA with and wander’s modern, technical approach, the Patchwork Wind Pants are a seriously wearable pair of outdoor trousers that work just as well in the city as they do halfway up a mountain.

The Patchwork Wind Shorts are a unique pair of climbing shorts made as part of our collaboration with Japan’s and wander. As you’d expect from and wander, every detail here has been really carefully considered to create a pair of shorts that tick the boxes for both form and function. It’s made from a combination of ripstop and taffeta, which means it’s got a crisp, light handle whilst still being reassuringly tough—and as you’ve probably noticed, it’s got three big zip pockets on the front for your phone, camera or whatever else you need to hand. A perfect example of and wander’s unique approach to outdoor design.
