History: The Baltimore Bays won the Eastern Division in the NPSL’s first and only season, and joined the new North American Soccer League when the NPSL merged with the rival United Soccer Association. The Bays were joint venture between the National Brewing Company and baseball’s Baltimore Orioles. Home matches were played at Memorial Stadium.
