A first for Iron Heart, a slubby denim. This deep indigo selvedge denim has a really uneven hand on both the face and reverse (think off the scale loom-chatter), but at the same time, it is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear.

We designed the pattern with a slightly higher rise and carefully considered the difference in measurements between the waist and hips. To create a clean line from the waist down to the hem, we incorporated a slight taper while allowing some room around the thigh area. The result is a sharply tailored, slim-fit silhouette that complements a range of footwear from sneakers to boots.
One notable detail is the use of the vintage-inspired UNIVERSAL FASTNER for the front closure. In a denim market where button flies are prevalent, the use of a zipper fly is unique and practical. This choice is made possible by G3 DENIM’s low tension weave and minimal vertical shrinkage, allowing for a smooth production process even with a zipper closure.
