A long lost Gramicci classic, the Gadget Pants were first designed back in the early 90s as the ultimate utility trousers. Sitting somewhere between climbing pants and painter pants, they’re seriously useful—those contrasting canvas pockets extend from the front around to the back for unparalleled haulage, whilst that extra webbing strip above the right pocket is prime for keeping keys, carabiners or water bottles right where you need ‘em.
As for the shape, these are a touch shorter in the leg than the G-Pants and the Jam Pants (although not quite as short as the Cropped NN Pants or the Loose Tapered Pants), but feature the widest hem of the bunch, for a relaxed, straight-legged shape. If you’re searching for a more minimal alternative to cargo or carpenter pants, then these might just be what you’re after.

Originally devised for rock climbing, they’ve got a diamond-shaped crotch gusset for full 180 degree leg reach and an easy-to-adjust integrated nylon belt. These ones here have been pigment dyed. This basically means that the color was added as a pigment after the shorts were sewn together. It’s a pretty amazing process that gives really interesting results—lending these shorts a really tasteful, almost worn-in look that’ll get even better as you wear ‘em.

A pencil integrated with a brass holder made at a press factory in Japan. When not in use, the pencil is set inside the main unit, so you can carry it around easily. By removing the part with the eraser attached, you can use it without clips. Use it as a companion on your life trip, always clipping it around your leather cover, removing the clip and throwing it in your pocket. Solid brass shines golden at the beginning of use, but as you continue to use it, the surface oxidizes and changes its color to a deep and vintage color. A refill with a pencil and eraser is also available, so please use it for a long time and enjoy the aging of brass. In addition, you can set a shorter pencil if it is a common thickness pencil.
