The Red Wing Shoes 8’’ Moc Toe 3427 Oro-legacy is a Red Wing Shoes Women style from the Core Collection. The Core Collection features the most popular styles from our men’s collection, completely redesigned with smoother cow hide and a softer insole, resulting in a boot that is much more comfortable but just as tough as our men’s collection. The Moc Toe reinterprets the Classic 8” Moc Toe from the heritage collection, originally designed in the early 1950s to serve the need of hunters and farmers. The Red Wing Moc Toe was built to withstand hard labor and harsh weather conditions with a high shaft to protect against snake bites. The name Red Wing ‘Moc Toe’ derives from ‘Moccasin’, the traditional Algonquian Indian word for the U-shape design of the toe. The Moc Toe is built on a thinner White Traction Tred sole with a Goodyear welt and showcases the Red Wing Oro-legacy oil tanned premium leather from Red Wing Shoes’ own S.B. Foot Tannery. The 3427 8” Moc Toe comes with yellow-tan Taslan laces.
