The Classic Moc was first made by Red Wing in 1952. In the decades since, it’s grown into one of the most beloved lifestyle boots in the world. Initially created for sportspeople, the boot quickly became a favorite of farm and factory workers for its long-lasting construction, steady traction, and all-day comfort. The Classic Moc’s features live on today, as the boot is still built with the same pride and process now as it was then.

The Red Wing Shoes Policeman is the original Policeman boot from the 1950s. The Red Wing Policeman was originally designed to meet Postal Service requirements. The Red Wing Policeman is sturdy, sleek and simplistic to serve America’s mailmen well. The Red Wing Postman was first introduced in 1954 and have a leather upper, a dog tail and blind eyelets. The 6” Red Wing Policeman boot has a black cushion crepe wedge outsole which gives the shoe maximum comfort during long walks. The Red Wing Shoes 6” Policeman style is made of Red Wing Black Chapparel leather. The Red Wing 9197 Black Chapparel comes with black flat laces.
