The Red Wing Engineer 2268 is an all-leather Engineer boot used to protect the engineer’s feet from from the hazards in locomotive cabins. The Red Wing 2268 Engineer boot has split at the top of the shaft that allowed the engineer to bend during work. The Red Wing 2268 Engineer is made from Red Wing’s Smooth Finished Black Chrome leather, a traditional heavyweight Red Wing leather. The Engineer boot has an indestructible Neoprene Cord Sole and a reinforced steel toebox.
